The main staple of a rabbit’s diet should be lots of fresh hay such as Timothy or Meadow Hay, and always have plenty of clean water available. Grass also provides good balanced nutrients for your bunny!

Rabbits also love fresh fruit and vegetables! However, these should be introduced slowly and as part of a balanced diet, as some rabbits may be unable to tolerate certain foods.

Here’s an idea of the fruit and vegetables that are suitable for your bunny!

•    Green Beans
•    Cucumber
•    Watercress
•    Brussel Sprouts
•    Spinach (occasionally!)

Fruit
(only around 2 tbsp per day due to sugar content):

•    Apricot
•    Cherries
•    Blackberries
•    Melon

Herbs & Flowers
•    Rosemary
•    Basil
•    Coriandor
•    Mint
•    Thyme
•    Parsley
•    Lavender

•    Coltsfoot
•    Nettle
•    Dandelion
•    Plantain
•    Comfrey

Just remember – rabbits need plenty of fresh hay every day along with clean water, there are only some certain foods which they should have and if you are unsure about anything then see your vet as they will be able to advise.
