With the warmer weather now here, many of us have been thinking about dusting off the BBQ and inviting friends and family over for a bit of al fresco dining. It’s nice to have the garden looking good when having people over, so together with our friends at Westlands horticulture, we’ve pulled together a handy guide with some tips on how to get your garden BBQ-ready!

Here are our 5 simple steps to getting your garden looking wonderful this weekend:

1. Give your lawn a boost!

Mow your lawn on a high setting. Aim to give the grass a light trim to tidy it up and if you’ve got time, cut the edges to make it look really neat. Apply Aftercut 3 Day Green Lawn Feed & Conditioner immediately after for a lush green lawn within just 3 days.

2. Weed out the weeds

Tackle the most visible weeds (those on your paths, patios and driveway) with Resolva Path & Patio Weedkiller. The ‘ready to use’ version requires no mixing and has a non-drip trigger. It’ll get to work within 24 hours, killing weeds right to the root.

3. Add a splash of colour

Buy a pot or container, pour in some Gro-Sure All Purpose Compost and insert some colourful bedding plants. This will take 10 mins max and because the compost has 4 months feed included, it’ll keep your plants looking fresh for longer!
