Haunted Happenings organise ghost hunting events in some of the UK’s most haunted buildings – including prisons, castles, inns, asylums and mansions!

This Halloween they have a fantastic line up of haunted locations to choose from. You can spend the night in a haunted castle, follow in the footsteps of witches, or for the truly brave, sit alone in a haunted cell.

The award-winning Stratford Town Ghost Walk has been taking place in the town of Shakespeare’s birth since 2002 and its guides – Vincent, The Man in Black, Blake Barrington and Josiah Grubb – are either members of Equity, professional magicians, or entertainers.

The walk includes a visit to Hall’s Croft, a magnificent example of a half-timbered building from the 1600’s which was the home of William Shakespeare’s eldest daughter Susanna and has featured on television’s ‘Most Haunted Live’.

Fishers Farm Park is an award-winning family visitor attraction located on the edge of the South Downs National Park, in the heart of the West Sussex countryside – and this Halloween they are promising witches and wizards, vampires and lizards, and owls that go hoot in the night, scary tales and slimy snails, and ghosts that give you a fright!

With a Spook Show taking place daily in Fishers Farm Park’s Barn Theatre, the ‘Gory-ent Express’ train chugging its way through a ghostly tunnel, and on selected days the Animal Extravaganza popping in with some creepy-crawlies and beastly bugs, this is a perfect Halloween event for kids.

Tulleys Farm in Crawley, West Sussex will be playing host to a range of ghoulish attractions this Halloween, with a Scary Fun House, Horrid Hayride, Boo Barn, Creepy Cottage, and a Spooky Trail and Spook Hunt providing hours of frightening fun for all the family.

Spooktober Fest kicks off with a Pumpkin Festival on the 19th and 20th October, when Tulleys Carving Competition will take place. Guests are invited to bring their own pumpkin or to purchase one whilst at the park, which they can then carve and have judged by professional carvers.

The Spooktacular Halloween party offers an evening of spectacular interactive entertainment, with a three course carvery, themed room, ghoulish games and a disco where you can Monster Mash the night away. There will even be hearses at the end of the evening for survivors!

The Centre for Life is a pioneering science village based in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne and on October 31st they are holding a Halloween party, where over 18s will be able to explore the museum with no kids in the way!

Guests will have the chance to take part in a Mexican Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls workshop, to visit the Foley studio where ‘Hitchcock-like’ screams can be generated, and to take a thrilling trip on the centre’s brand new Frankenstein 4D Motion Ride.

There’ll also be a devilishly good disco with prizes for the best costumes.
