Skin Therapy is a fantastic new everyday skincare range for all skin types, which makes healthy skincare easy and affordable.

Skin Therapy smoothes the way to a skincare routine by presenting cleanse, tone and moisturise as a simple 3-step daily facial for better skin. The range covers sensitive, normal and tea tree (great for oily skin) so there’s something for everyone. Start and maintain a good, healthy skincare routine, almost effortlessly!

We’ve pulled together some great advice on how you can use Skin Therapy to create a simple skincare routine.  The product ranges are designed to work together to give you the best results , so don’t mix brands or products in your skin care regime.

Step 1: Find out your skin type

Normal skin is not too dry or too oily, and not sensitive.

Sensitive skin may sting, burn, show signs of redness or itch after you use make-up or other products.

Combination skin is dry in some spots (such as cheeks) and oily in others (for example forehead, nose, and chin).

Oily skin is shiny and a little greasy.

Dry skin is flaky or slightly rough. If your skin feels a bit tight after cleansing, you may have dry skin.

Step 2: Cleansing

Normal/combination skin – use a cleanser such as the Skin Therapy Normal & Combination Facial Wash. Rinse well, and pat dry. If you like scrubs, try the Skin Therapy Normal & Combination Facial Scrub, which has been developed to cleanse whilst exfoliating your skin to remove dirt, impurities and dead skin cells – leaving your face feeling revived and refreshed!

Sensitive skin – wash your face with a gentle cleanser such as the Skin Therapy Sensitive Skin Facial Wash, and rinse with warm water. Make sure you pat dry rather than rubbing! Avoid other products, which have alcohol, soap, acid or fragrance. Use a toner that’s formulated for sensitive skin; we’d recommend the Skin Therapy Sensitive Skin Toner.

Our sensitive range is free from alcohol , colour and fragrance , so is kind to your skin.

Oily skin – try the Skin Therapy Tea Tree Facial Wash or Skin Therapy Tea Tree Facial Scrub. Consider using a toner after you’ve washed your face, being careful that it doesn’t irritate your skin.

Step 3: Moisturising

All skin needs moisture to prevent it from drying out. Consider applying moisturiser whilst your skin is still damp to help seal in the moisture. For oily skin, try a light, non-greasy moisturiser, so that it doesn’t block your pores.

We’ve got a great range of Skin Therapy moisturisers, designed for your skin type.

For normal/combination skin we have a Skin Therapy Normal/Combination Day Moisturiser with UV filters, developed with conditioning pro-vitamin B5 and rose extract to soften and tone your skin. There’s also a Skin Therapy Normal/Combination night moisturiser, which intensely conditions and deeply moisturises your skin whilst you sleep. It’s infused with rich moisturising ingredients and Vitamin E, so you wake up to lovely conditioned and rejuvenated skin.

For dry/sensitive skin have a look at the Skin Therapy Light Hydrating Moisturiser with UV filters, which is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, colour free and alcohol free – so it’s ideal for skin that’s prone to reactions to certain ingredients.

For oily skin we’ve specially developed the Skin Therapy Tea Tree Moisturiser, which contains pore tightening witch hazel and a salicylic acid antibacterial action. These extra ingredients help to prevent spots and breakouts, which can be a particular problem for oily skin.

Top tips for great looking skin:

  • Eat well! ‘You are what you eat’ applies to skin as well as general health, so maintain a good diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water – if you’re well hydrated, your skin will be too. Smoking and drinking alcohol contributes to premature ageing of the skin and dryness, so cut back if you can.
  • Try not to touch your face too much! This transfers bacteria from your hands to your face, which can get trapped in your pores and lead to spots.
  • Don’t go to bed with your make-up on. If you’re too tired to wash your face properly, remove what you can with wipes. Check out our range of Skin Therapy face wipes and keep a pack handy by your bedside! Don’t forget to change your pillowcase regularly to prevent a build-up of bacteria.
